About Natasa Starcevich
My Experience and Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology Degree, majoring in Addiction Studies at a Post Graduate level, and a Graduate Degree in Analytic Psychotherapy and Counselling from The Churchill Clinic. Rigorous clinical and academic training underpins my practice, paired with ongoing study, supervision, and extensive work experience. Most importantly, I have undergone hundreds of hours of my own personal analysis.
I have extensive experience working with adults over a wide range of issues and social situations, including:
Relationship issues within a couple and for those who are single.
Feelings of depression, emptiness, dissatisfaction, and anxiety.
The impact of domestic and family violence, and sexual assault.
Issues arising from childhood abuse and neglect, including narcissistic parenting.
Toxic family dynamics.
Concerns related to sexuality.
It is apparent that much of our suffering can be traced back to our experiences as children within the family unit and broader socialisation. I believe this is where seeds are planted and take root, influencing the choices we make as we grow, and further compounding developmental blocks from the past. The experience of undergoing my own analysis, and having worked therapeutically with literally thousands of people over several decades, continues to validate the transformative power of inner work as a way to create a meaningful life.
